Synopsis:
Sunny Chan and Ron Ng act as father and son in this light-hearted comedy series with Sunny Chan playing Chor Fan and Ron Ng as Chor Chi. Both Chor Fan and Chor Chi are very different in terms of personality and their values in life, which causes them to constantly disagree with each other. Chor Fan is always reminiscing about the 60s while Chor Chi finds his father too outdated and not in phase with modern society. Chor Chi himself is smart and successful in his career but is materialistic, selfish and lacks consideration for others. In a twist of events, lightning strikes the elevator that Chor Chi was in and he travels through time to find himself back in the 60s. There, he encounters a young Chor Fan and Chor Fan is kind enough to take him in. My thoughts:
This is a good series to watch if you're just looking to sit back, relax and have a good laugh. Most of the entire series consists of exaggerated acting, plus funny bordering on dumb antics and jokes. I actually enjoyed it quite a bit, maybe because I do like watching comedies. The storyline itself was alright but I found the ending a little disappointing because it was left open-ended. The cast gave a good performance; Ron seems to have improved especially in his singing (I like the themesong) although he still seems to be playing his usual arrogant and impulsive kid type of roles. I didn't really like Myolie in here or maybe I'm biased because I don't like her acting in general; I find her too exaggerated all the time. Overall, I would recommend it to people who enjoy a good laugh but if you're not into dumb comedies then you would probably lose your patience in this one after a couple of episodes.
