Synopsis:

Wong Yeuk Lam (Michelle Yim) is the daughter of famous chef Wong Dong Hoi. She is in love with her father's first disciple, Ma Onn San but they were forced to part due to some misunderstanding. She then marries her father's third disciple, Kwan Jiu Sing. On one occasion, Jiu Sing prepares some soup for the Wong Ye but the Wong Ye unexpectedly dies after drinking it. Dong Hoi and his entire family faces the possibility of execution; fortunately Onn San appears at this moment and takes the blame for it in order to save his old love.

Twenty years later, Onn San's son, Wing Jing (Roger Kwok) encounters Yeuk Lam and his father's junior Yam Fei Yeung (Ng Wai Kwok) in Gao Gao town. This causes him to want to find out the truth about his father's death. At the same time, he starts to have feelings for Lin Seung Chun (Esther Kwan) who runs a restaurant. But Seung Chun is also the widow of Jiu Sing ...

My thoughts:

It has been a while since Esther has been in a TVB series so I am definitely looking forward to watching this one with her in it. I totally enjoy watching Esther and it was a pity she had to leave Best Selling Secrets halfway through the last time. I am pretty sure there are many Esther fans out there just like me who have been waiting for her return for the longest time and YAY the wait is finally over!
